Some FAQs on Line Calls, Etc

Question: Double Bounce

If a player may have hit double bounce ball, but said it bounced only once, do the opponents have to accept the call?

Answer:
It is up to the player making the stroke to call the ball "not up". In an unofficiated match the opponents must accept the call.

Question: Bad Calls

If a player-or-team makes seemingly numerous bad line calls, can the other player/team/captain request a line judge, who only makes a judgment on disputed line calls?

Answer:
If there is an official roving umpire you may ask for a line judge. But in an unofficiated match all you can do is ask if the opponent is sure of the call.
